Tour of Rome in a Vintage Fiat 500: Private Tours & Tours with a Driver

⚠️ Since organizing these tours requires careful logistics involving our classic cars, requests must be made at least 3 business days in advance (Monday through Friday). For “Self-Drive” packages (without a driver), you must be able to drive a car with a manual transmission, and you must have a European driver’s license (or an international driver’s license if you are from outside the EU).

Information About Our Vintage Fiat 500s

• A classic car: The Fiat 500 is a small vintage car. It offers authentic comfort, though it is somewhat limited, especially for taller people.
• Capacity: Ideal for 2 adults. It is possible to accommodate a third adult (only with the “Self-Drive” option) or a child, but space in the back will be very limited.
• Safety: In accordance with automotive standards of the time, our vintage cars are not equipped with seat belts in the back.

A. “Grand Tour of Rome” (3 hours)

• Departures: upon request (earliest departure at 9:30 a.m.).
• Itinerary: Colosseum, Celio Hill, St. Peter's, Castel Sant'Angelo, Aventine Hill (Orange Grove), Appian Way, Circus Maximus, Trastevere, and Janiculum Hill.
• Price: €450.00 per car (maximum capacity: 2 adults + 1 child).

B. “Rome in the Movies” (3 hours)

• Departures: 10:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.
• Tour: Discover the filming locations of cult classics such as “Roman Holiday, ” “Angels & Demons, ” “La Dolce Vita,” and more…
• Price: €450.00 per car (maximum capacity: 2 adults + 1 child).

Included in the tours with a driver: Fiat 500 rental, a private driver-guide, insurance, pickup and drop-off at your hotel (if centrally located), and a coffee/cappuccino break.

A. Mini Tour of the Must-Sees (1 hour 30 minutes)

• Departures: 9:00 a.m. / 2:00 p.m. / 4:00 p.m. / 7:00 p.m.
• Itinerary: Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Aventine Hill, Orange Grove, Circus Maximus, Mouth of Truth.
• Price per car: €300.00 (1–2 people) | €350.00 (3 people) | €400.00 (3 people + 1 child).

B. Tour of the 7 Hidden Treasures (3 hours)

• Departures: 9:00 a.m. / 2:00 p.m. / 4:00 p.m. / 7:00 p.m. (magical night tour).
• Itinerary: Colosseum, Aventine Hill, Testaccio, Pyramid, Janiculum Terrace.
• Price per car: €350.00 (1–2 people) | €400.00 (3 people) | €420.00 (3 people + 1 child).

C. Self-Drive Tour & Wine Tasting (4 hours)

• Departures: 9:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m.
• Duration: 3 hours of driving + 1 hour of wine tasting.
• Itinerary: Colosseum, Aventine Hill, Jewish Ghetto, Janiculum Hill, Trastevere, followed by a tasting of four selected Italian wines.
• Price per car: €450.00 (1–2 people) | €500.00 (3 people).

Additional Options (Self-Drive Tours): surcharge for a private tour (+€100.00), surcharge if you decide you'd like a driver after all (+€50.00).

• The desired date and time for the experience (please specify if they are flexible), as well as the option you have chosen (Chauffeur or Self-Drive).
• Estimated number of participants: Please specify whether this number is likely to change. Don’t forget to mention any specific details about your group that are relevant to the experience (dietary restrictions, fitness level, children’s ages, etc.).
• Language: The preferred language for your experience.
• The type of group or event (family trip, trip with friends, celebration, seminar).
• Location: The address of your lodging or the event venue in Rome.
• Your reference budget (either an overall budget for the entire service or a budget specific to the experience).
• Your needs for additional services (accommodations, transportation, photographer, decorations, etc.).
• Your complete contact information: name of the primary contact or company, phone number (only if you would like to be contacted by phone), and billing address for the quote (which will be sent to you by email).

1. Requests and Reservation Processes

• Initial contact with our team: To ensure thorough follow-up, all requests (quotes, availability, reservations, and logistics) are handled exclusively via email (info@beyondroma.com) or through our online form. For organizational reasons, we will not process any requests by phone, text message, or WhatsApp.
• Response times: As a general rule, you will receive a response within 72 business hours (Monday through Friday). However, this timeframe is suspended during the agency’s annual closure (the period between Christmas and New Year’s Day).
• Create your itinerary: Would you like to combine several activities? Simply click on the “heart” icon to add activities to your favorites and send us a single request that includes them all.
• Need a turnkey trip? If your project requires a comprehensive proposal that includes finding accommodations, please fill out our dedicated form in its entirety.
• Advance notice required (no last-minute requests): To ensure seamless coordination, we are unable to handle urgent requests. All requests must be submitted at least 3 business days (Monday through Friday) in advance. Without this advance notice, we will unfortunately be unable to process your request.
• Reservations: We recommend making a reservation at least 10 business days in advance (and well in advance for corporate groups), subject to the availability of classic cars.

2. Payment Terms

• Reservation Confirmation: The reservation is not definitively confirmed until we receive the advance payment and proof of payment. No reservation is guaranteed until payment is received.
• Bank transfer (SEPA): Free (subject to the terms and conditions of your own bank and the country of origin).
• Credit card: via our fully secure online payment system (Stripe platform). A 3.9% fee applies to credit card payments.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Deposit and Agency Fees: In the event of a full cancellation, the deposit paid at the time of booking is retained by the agency and is non-refundable. Deposits for private tours, private vehicles, and custom services are strictly non-refundable once payment has been made. For all services, agency fees are due and non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation.
• Cancellation and Refunds: Our cancellation policy is directly based on that of the activity provider. The specific terms and conditions for your reservation are available upon request.
• Ticketing: Admission tickets for monuments or attractions are non-refundable, unless the site has a special refund policy (in which case, the refund will be issued after deducting our agency fees).
• Special orders and associated costs: Services that involve the delivery of physical items, such as personalized gifts or special requests, are non-refundable after purchase.
• Force Majeure: The agency shall not be held liable for events resulting from force majeure, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, political or social unrest, strikes, epidemics or pandemics, unexpected closures of monuments or streets, extreme weather conditions, and unforeseeable mechanical breakdowns of this type of classic vehicle.

4. Specific “Self-Drive” Terms and Conditions

• To drive yourself, you must have a driver’s license valid in Italy (a European license, or an international driver’s license if you are from outside the EU) and know how to drive a vehicle with a manual transmission. If it is determined on site that you are unable to drive, the tour will be canceled without any refund.
